W 2013 roku obroni\u0142a doktorat po\u015bwi\u0119cony analizie kategorii cia\u0142a w filozofii wsp\u00f3\u0142czesnej w Instytucie Filozofii i Socjologii Polskiej Akademii Nauk. Obecnie wsp\u00f3\u0142realizuje grant Ministra Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wy\u017cszego (w ramach Narodowego Programu Rozwoju Humanistyki) w Instytucie Filozofii UW, jest tak\u017ce wyk\u0142adowczyni\u0105 na Podyplomowym Studium Filozofii i Etyki (IBL PAN oraz ISNS UW), a tak\u017ce na Polsko-Japo\u0144skiej Akademii Technik Komputerowych.<\/p>\n

Monika Rogowska-Stangret pracuje obecnie w ramach bada\u0144 prowadzonych z perspektywy feministycznych nowych materializm\u00f3w oraz posthumanizmu. Interesuje j\u0105 poj\u0119cie \u201eetyki siebie\u201d \/ \u201etroski o siebie\u201d zw\u0142aszcza w kontek\u015bcie wsp\u00f3\u0142czesnych proces\u00f3w tworzenia wiedzy, etyczny potencja\u0142 w(y)kluczenia, inno\u015bci i obco\u015bci oraz kwestia traumy i \u015bmierci, ich znaczenia i miejsca poza antropocentrycznym paradygmatem.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]Dr. Monika Rogowska-Stangret graduated from the Institute of Philosophy (Warsaw University), The Graduate School for Social Research (GSSR) at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, \u201cLaboratorium Psychoedukacji\u201d, and University of Social Sciences and Humanities (in Warsaw). In 2013 she defended her PhD thesis devoted to analyzing the category of the body in contemporary philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Currently she is working in the Institute of Philosophy (Warsaw University) on the grant from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (in the frames of the National Programme for the Development of the Humanities). She also teaches at the Postgraduate Study of Philosophy and Ethics and in the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.<\/p>\n

She was awarded scholarships from the Ko\u015bciuszko Foundation (in Rutgers. The State University of New Jersey), WUS Austria and ERSTE Stiftung (she was a coauthor of the project \u201cFeminist New Materialism \u2013 a political perspective in the context of Polish post-transition gender politics\u201d in the frames of \u201ePATTERNS Lectures\u201d), she is also a member of Management Committee of the programme funded by European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) entitled \u201eNew Materialism: Networking European Scholarship on \u2018How Matter Comes to Matter\u2019\u201d. She was the chair of 7th Annual Conference on the New Materialisms: Performing Situated Knowledges: Space, Time, Vulnerability (21-23.09.2016, Warsaw).<\/p>\n

She co-edited issue of \u201ePrzegl\u0105d Filozoficzno-Literacki\u201d [\u201ePhilosophical-Literary Review\u201d] on the body 4(32)\/2011 and an issue of \u201eEtyka\u201d 45, 2012.<\/p>\n

Monika Rogowska-Stangret currently works from the perspective of feminist new materialisms and posthumanism. She is interested in the \u201cethics of the self\u201d\/ \u201ccare of the self\u201d especially in the context of contemporary knowledge-building processes, in ethical potential of inclusion\/exclusion, otherness and strangeness and in the question of trauma and death \u2013 their meaning and role beyond anthropocentric paradigm.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
