Interesuje j\u0105 poj\u0119cie \u201eetyki siebie\u201d \/ \u201etroski o siebie\u201d zw\u0142aszcza w kontek\u015bcie wsp\u00f3\u0142czesnych proces\u00f3w tworzenia wiedzy, etyczny potencja\u0142 w(y)kluczenia, inno\u015bci i obco\u015bci oraz kwestia traumy i \u015bmierci, ich znaczenia i miejsca poza antropocentrycznym paradygmatem.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]Dr. Monika Rogowska-Stangret graduated from the Institute of Philosophy (Warsaw University), The Graduate School for Social Research (GSSR) at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, \u201cLaboratorium Psychoedukacji\u201d, and University of Social Sciences and Humanities (in Warsaw). In 2013 she defended her PhD thesis devoted to analyzing the category of the body in contemporary philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Currently she is working in the Institute of Philosophy (Warsaw University) on the grant from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (in the frames of the National Programme for the Development of the Humanities). She also teaches at the Postgraduate Study of Philosophy and Ethics and in the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.<\/p>\n<p>She was awarded scholarships from the Ko\u015bciuszko Foundation (in Rutgers. The State University of New Jersey), WUS Austria and ERSTE Stiftung (she was a coauthor of the project \u201cFeminist New Materialism \u2013 a political perspective in the context of Polish post-transition gender politics\u201d in the frames of \u201ePATTERNS Lectures\u201d), she is also a member of Management Committee of the programme funded by European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) entitled \u201eNew Materialism: Networking European Scholarship on \u2018How Matter Comes to Matter\u2019\u201d. She was the chair of 7th Annual Conference on the New Materialisms: Performing Situated Knowledges: Space, Time, Vulnerability (21-23.09.2016, Warsaw).<\/p>\n<p>She is the author of a book entitled\u00a0<em>Cia\u0142o \u2013 poza Inno\u015bci\u0105 i To\u017csamo\u015bci\u0105.\u00a0<\/em>[<em>Body \u2013 Beyond Otherness and Sameness.\u00a0<\/em><em>Three Figures of the Body in Contemporary Philosophy<\/em>] (Gda\u0144sk 2016),\u00a0articles, most recently, among other things:\u00a0<em>A Quest for Feminist Space and Time<\/em>, in: \u201cWomen: A Cultural Review\u201d, 25\/1, 2014:114-122 (coauthor),\u00a0<em>Of Other Spaces, of Other Times \u2013 Towards New Materialist Politics of Squatting<\/em>, in: Avant \u201cFeminism as Interventions \/ Feminizm jako interwencje\u201d, Volume VI, 1\/2015: 65-80, and chapters, among others:\u00a0<em>Stigmergy as a Collective Research Practice<\/em>, in:\u00a0<em>Imagine there were no humanities\u2026 Transdisciplinary perspectives<\/em>, ed. She co-edited issue of \u201ePrzegl\u0105d Filozoficzno-Literacki\u201d [\u201ePhilosophical-Literary Review\u201d] on the body 4(32)\/2011 and an issue of \u201eEtyka\u201d 45, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Monika Rogowska-Stangret currently works from the perspective of feminist new materialisms and posthumanism.
